The Department of Homeland Security has informed us that effective January 8, 2007, all US citizens travelling to and from Canada BY AIR must have a VALID PASSPORT. If travelling by car or ferry a valid photo ID and proof of citizenship is acceptable (e.g. birth certificate and drivers licence)
